BIO1
Raised by wolves in the forests of the outer hebrides for the first 15 years of his life before being kidnapped and taken into custody by a gang of civil servants, who taught him the ways of the gentry. he escaped captivity and roamed the British Isles for years, disguised as a smelly crusty, travelling from festival to festival. it was during this time that he learnt his skills in "Recycled scrap art" with a happy go lucky band of larakins known only as "The Mutoid Waste Co.". Specialising in robotic and mechanical sculptures from industrial scrap and old car and machine parts, as new materials are too expensive. He was deported to Australia 1999 for "Crimes of odour pollution". He has been residing in Sydney ever since in his top secret headquaters, plotting revenge and hatching dastardly plans.

BIO2
I started working as a sculptor and getting involved in theatre and festival productions twelve years ago in Edinburgh, working with the likes of Beltane Fire Society, Sativa Night Club and Boiler House Theatre Co.
Around this time I was also getting involved with some Arts Co-operatives, through Dublin St. Studios and Out Of The Blue.
After travelling Europe and getting involved with groups like Mutoid Waste Co, Turbo Zone, Silo Theater and Hugh Jarts i focused more towards interactive metal sculpture, sculpture vehicles and mechanical sculptures, and on producing industrial performances to incorporate these elements into a cohesive environment.
Since moving to Sydney, after working building floats and sculptures for the Olympic Ceremonies, I've been working extensively in feature films, television and theatre in set construction, mechanical effects, steel construction and prop building, while also working on my own projects.
Most recently I've been heavily involved in the running of MEKanarky Studios, and making time to get back into producing some of my own sculpture based performance, most notably the Mechanoids and the Fire Garden. Galleries of my works, past and present can be found at the top of this page. For the moment, these galleries are best viewed in Firefox.
